John a boating pal September 20, 2010

What a nice tribute to a classy gal.

I had the pleasure of Lynnes company, along with a few of our common friends, on several weekend boat trips on my boat.  I am really sorry that I couldnt attend her memorial  but im grateful for the short time I got to know Lynne.  She had a charm about her that you dont see too often.

When I reminisce about the many boating adventures Ive had  past and present, I think of the fun times with Lynne and her friends.

God bless her soul.

~In Memory of your "April Angel" Lynne Ide~

April

The angel of April is the spirit of rebirth.

As the days grow longer and the sun begins to warm us, April is a time for new life and new beginnings.  April's angel spurs us to test ourselves in new directions and to make ourselves vulnerable in the face of unfamiliar people, situations and places.  Encouraged by the April angel, we search for new and novel endeavors that will enrich our lives and bring new meaning to our career or family roles.

The April angel teaches us to delight in each sign of awakening, in nature and within ourselves.

You and your family are in my prayers!! God Bless!

Lynne,

From our brief period of exchanging e-mails, I remember you as one sweet, kind, classy, and happy lady.  I sure wish I could've met you, but I'm honored to have been an e-bud.

Hey girl,

I am sorry that I was not able to attend the memorial service; however, I was there in mind and spirit.  I know you would know but I had to say it.  I miss you dearly and think about you often.

OMG...I have got to let you know that I got the earrings to match my David Yurman bracelet for my birthday.  I know you would appreciate hearing this so I had to let you know as I thought of you instantly ... as you said "great minds think alike".

I really miss you and miss hearing your stories/updates of the cats, trips and Skip.

You will always hold a special spot in my heart!  Besitos!

News of Lynne's death has shocked and saddened me.  We worked together in Kenosha before she moved to Florida.  It has probably been 15 years since we communicated, but from reading your comments it is obvious she so totally enjoyed her life and her friends.  She will be missed.

This moment is the first of your Firsts, Lynne; the first of all of our Firsts.  So, happy First Weekiversary!  It’s hard to say “happy” because all of us that you left behind cannot imagine seeing happiness anytime soon, but we know you are happy as you visit with the many people you have loved in your life that left you behind.  We know you’re happy because you can see the whole world all at once, and you can visit any place you want, any time you want.  And we know you’re with each and every one of us, loving us and helping to guide us on our paths as we try to heal from the deep loss of your leaving us much too soon.

Lisa B. Another missed opportunity April 27, 2009

Dearest Lynne,

Lisa B. here.  In looking at the pictures, the only thing I can say is man,

here is a woman who really knew how to enjoy life.

I'm coming out of a mess of my own making after 26 years, and I have

lost so much time.  This is the kind of woman I want to be.

Lynne, you were always such an inspiration to me.  I envied you your life,

the way you worked, but the way you played as well.

I was always saying, I've got to sit down and pick Lynne's brains if I'm

ever going to start realtiming.  Well, I never got around to it.  Just figured

Lynne would be around forever.

To everyone who reads this, look at the slideshow, and live for each day.

Do the things you want to do.  Take the trip, use the good perfume, wear

the red dress.  Dance like nobody's watching.  Have the time of your life,

because our life is a moment, a precious gift from God, that should be

used for so much more than just working ourselves to death and paying

the bills.  Tell the people that you love just that.

Talk to someone you've been meaning to talk to.

Get that certification.  Get that degree.

Do the volunteer work you've been meaning to get around to doing.

We are not guaranteed tomorrow, but I know that Lynne had a full,

rich, fulfilling fun life.  My greatest tribute to her would be to follow

in her footsteps both in my personal and my professional life.

Lynne, I'm sorry I didn't get to know you better.

I'm sorry we didn't share one drink and one sunset.

Seize the day, everybody.  Seize the day.

Love you and will miss you,

Lisa B.

P.S.  Lynne, I can't think of a better charity to donate

to in your honor. (Even if you were a cat person, and I

a dog!:)))))))

Patti Lynne April 27, 2009
Dearest Lynne,
I just can't stop thinking of you.  I spent 40 hours on the water this wkend and saw so many sights, that I just knew you were sharing with me, straight from heaven.
All who knew and loved you have a hole in our hearts.  All we can do is try to fill that, knowing that you lived your life to the fullest, always; and we can aspire to do that, too, as you have shown us.  Love you and miss you so very very much, honey!
